Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant Reviews MoU Implementation Progress from RRGIS 2024
Emphasizes Transparency, Speed and Investor Engagement
Ananya soch: Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the progress of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed during the Rajasthan Rising Global Investment Summit (RRGIS) 2024. The meeting focused on strengthening the state’s investment ecosystem through faster implementation, improved coordination, and greater transparency.
During the review, the Chief Secretary lauded the efforts of various departments for effectively translating investment commitments into tangible outcomes. He noted that MoUs worth ₹7 lakh crore have already been grounded, marking nearly 20% implementation progress. This milestone, he said, reflects the growing confidence of both domestic and global investors in Rajasthan’s conducive business environment.
Shri Pant highlighted that regular review meetings and follow-ups with investors are crucial to sustaining the state’s investment momentum. “Continuous monitoring, proactive engagement, and transparent processes are the backbone of successful MoU implementation,” he emphasized, urging officials to maintain consistency in follow-ups and ensure timely resolution of investor issues.
To enhance accountability and visibility, the Chief Secretary directed officials to upload photographs and detailed status reports of ongoing projects and groundbreaking activities on the designated government portal. This move aims to showcase the state’s progress and strengthen trust among stakeholders and investors.
Looking ahead, Shri Pant urged departments to collectively work toward achieving the target of grounding MoUs worth ₹9 lakh crore by December 2025. He emphasized that timely facilitation, inter-departmental coordination, and swift response to investor needs are essential to realize Rajasthan’s vision of sustainable industrial growth and employment generation.
Additionally, the Chief Secretary instructed departments to promote RIICO’s Direct Land Allotment Scheme among investors. The scheme provides industrial plots at reserved prices for those who signed MoUs under the “Rising Rajasthan” initiative. The sixth phase of the scheme, launched on October 30, 2025, offers plots across new and existing industrial areas developed by RIICO.
The meeting was attended by senior officials including Kuldeep Ranka, Additional Chief Secretary (Higher Technical Education); Alok Gupta, Principal Secretary (Industries & Commerce); Dinesh Kumar, Principal Secretary (Revenue); Rajesh Yadav, Principal Secretary (Tourism); T. Ravikanth, Principal Secretary (Mines & Petroleum); Debashish Prusty, Principal Secretary (UDH); and Suresh Kumar Ola, Commissioner, Bureau of Investment Promotion, along with other senior government officers.
