Three day garden bazaar starts at Jawahar Kala Kendra

Ananya soch:The 30th Garden Bazaar organized by the Kitchen Garden Association started on Friday at the Shilpgram of Jawahar Kala Kendra. The inauguration was done by IFS Shailaja Dewal. On this occasion, Kitchen Garden Association Secretary Shyama Verma said that the purpose of this event is to promote environmental protection and connect people with gardening. The garden bazaar will conclude on September 7.

-Colorful world of plants and gardening

More than 80 stalls have been set up in this market, in which ornamental plants, bonsai, succulents, good luck plants, chrysanthemums, seeds, organic fertilizers and garden accessories from India and abroad have been displayed. The buyers coming here are getting acquainted with the variety of plants and new trends of gardening.

 -Interesting workshops on the first day

On the first day of the program, a workshop on basic gardening was organized, in which board members Rekha Bhargava and Gayatri Singhal shared the basics of gardening. On the succulent tray garden, Geeta Ahluwalia told the participants the techniques of plant selection and decoration. Apart from this, in the 'Jade's Topiary' workshop, Shyama Verma taught women the skill of making attractive shapes like birds, snakes from plants.

-Many attractive workshops on Saturday

On Saturday, there will be a workshop on tray garden at 12 noon. After this, a workshop on terrarium will be organized at 2 pm and a workshop on bonsai will be organized at 4 pm. There will be free entry to all the workshops, which will give gardening lovers an opportunity to learn and share experiences.
