This large-scale bureaucratic restructuring is being viewed as a strategic step to inject fresh energy, accountability, and speed into governance mechanisms across the state.

From the Chief Minister’s Office to district headquarters and urban bodies, the reshuffle touches every crucial level of administration.

Key Changes in Secretariat and Strategic Departments

The reshuffle places experienced officers in high-impact roles, signaling a focus on policy execution and governance outcomes.

  • Dr. Joga Ram (2005) has been entrusted with Panchayati Raj and the National Health Mission—two critical pillars of rural development and healthcare.

  • Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni (2010) will play a crucial role in the Chief Minister’s Office and Information & Public Relations Department.

  • Rajan Vishal (2008) takes charge of Jal Jeevan Mission, a flagship program for rural water supply.

  • Shivangi Swarnkar (2011) assumes a key position in the Finance (Budget) Department.

These appointments indicate a clear push towards strengthening governance at the policy and execution levels.

Collectors Reshuffled Across Districts for Grassroots Impact (Collector Transfers Rajasthan
