Census 2027: District-Level Training Begins in Jaipur for First Phase of Digital House Listing & Enumeration

Ananya soch: Preparations for India’s Census 2027 have gained momentum with the launch of a two-day district-level training program for House Listing and Housing Census under the first phase. The training was inaugurated by Principal Census Officer and District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni at the Collectorate Auditorium.

Dr. Soni directed officials to thoroughly understand technical procedures and prioritize hands-on practice to ensure smooth and error-free operations. Officials from the Directorate of Census Operations, Rajasthan, informed that India Census 2027 will be conducted in a fully digital format through the Census Management Portal and mobile application, ensuring data accuracy, transparency, and quick analysis.

Self-enumeration will take place from May 1 to May 15, followed by fieldwork from May 16 to June 14. Around 40 officers, including tehsildars and naib tehsildars, participated in the training.
