Rajasthan to Digitize Organ Donation & Transplant Process; All Hospitals to Join Live Portal, Vigilance System Strengthened

Ananya soch: The Rajasthan government has decided to fully digitize organ donation and transplantation services to ensure transparency, efficiency, and accountability. (Organ Donation Rajasthan) A newly developed live portal will soon be launched, integrating all hospitals involved in organ donation and transplant procedures. The portal will enable real-time monitoring and ensure that all critical information remains accessible and transparent. Principal Secretary, Medical & Health, Ms. Gayatri Rathore, issued these directions during a review meeting at Swasthya Bhawan. She emphasized that organ donation is a life-saving mission and that standard operating procedures (SOPs) will be strictly implemented through an online system. The vigilance mechanism will also be strengthened, and a dedicated directorate-level cell will regularly inspect hospitals for compliance and adequate infrastructure.Training programs will be conducted for healthcare and ambulance staff from medical colleges to CHC level. The government will also boost public awareness campaigns and prioritize grievance redressal through digital platforms and helplines.
