Ananya soch: Art lovers in Jaipur are in for a vibrant visual treat as the much-awaited Rang-e-Rajasthan Art Exhibition” is all set to open at the prestigious Rajasthan International Centre (RIC). Scheduled from April 17 to May 17, 2026, the exhibition will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the grand उद्घाटन (inauguration) ceremony taking place on April 17 at 5:00 PM.

50 Artists, 50 Stories: A Unique Exhibition-cum-Sale

This exclusive showcase will feature around 50 artists from across Rajasthan, each presenting one signature artwork. Designed as an “Exhibition-cum-Sale,” visitors will not only experience diverse artistic expressions but also have the opportunity to purchase these artworks. The price range spans from ₹10,000 to ₹8,00,000, catering to both new collectors and seasoned art enthusiasts.

 A Landmark Initiative for Artists

What truly sets this exhibition apart is its artist-friendly approach. Organized on the occasion of RIC’s Foundation Day, the event will also mark the inauguration of a brand-new art gallery at the venue—symbolizing a fresh chapter in Jaipur’s art landscape.
Unlike typical galleries that charge 30% to 50% commission, RIC has limited its commission to just 5%, offering a significant boost to participating artists and setting a commendable example in the art community.

 A Blend of Tradition, Folk & Contemporary Art

Visitors can expect a rich fusion of Rajasthan’s artistic heritage—ranging from traditional and folk art to contemporary expressions. In addition, select artworks from RIC’s permanent collection, including works by renowned Indian artists, will also be on display.

 Three Generations of Creativity Under One Roof

The exhibition brings together senior, mid-career, and emerging artists. Esteemed names like Devkinandan Sharma, Shabih Hasan Qazi, Bhawani Shankar Sharma, Deepika Hazra, Samudar Singh Khangarot, Nathulal Verma, Subrata Mandal, Vinod Bhardwaj, Pramod Arya, Gopal Swami Khetanchi, Shweta Goyal, Nikhat Tasneem Qazi, Amita Raj Goyal, Krishna Mahawar, Lakhan Singh Jat, Aamir Harit, Amit Kala, Jagdish Prakash Meena, and renowned blue painter Sharad Bhardwaj will showcase their works.

Additionally, artists like Vinod Nagar, Neeta Ghalotra, Chandrashekhar Saini, and wash technique expert Lakshpal Singh Rathore add depth to the lineup, while young talents Ritik Patel, Dishank Sharma, Vikas Meena, and Shivani Singh represent the future of Rajasthan’s art scene.
