IPS Officers Reshuffle: Major IPS Reshuffle in Rajasthan: Several SPs Transferred, New Responsibilities Assigned

Ananya soch: The Rajasthan government has announced a major administrative reshuffle in the police department, transferring several IPS officers and assigning them new responsibilities across the state. According to the official order, multiple Superintendents of Police (SPs) and senior officers have been shifted to different districts and specialized units.

The move is seen as a strategic step to strengthen law enforcement and improve administrative efficiency in the state.

 Key District-Level Changes

Among the prominent transfers, Monika Sen has been moved from Commandant, Hadi Rani Battalion Ajmer, and appointed as SP Pali.
Gyan Chandra Yadav, who was serving in the ATS Jaipur, has been posted as SP Churu.

Similarly, Rajendra Kumar Meena has been transferred from SP Bundi to SP Intelligence Jaipur, while Mulchand Kachhawa has been moved from SP Nagaur to SP Bikaner.

Strategic Postings in Special Units

The government has also made key appointments in important districts and specialized units. Dr. Amrita Duhan has been appointed as SP Udaipur, replacing her previous role as SP Sri Ganganagar.

Meanwhile, Piyush Kavia has been transferred from SP Security Jaipur to SP Karauli.
Pushpendra Singh Rathore, who was serving in the Anti-Corruption Bureau Jaipur, has now been posted as SP Sirohi.

In another key move, Kamal Shekhawat has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), Jodhpur City.
