Ananya soch: On the auspicious occasion of Narad Jayanti, a grand ceremony was organized on Saturday at the Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple परिसर located at Laxman Doongri on Delhi Road, Jaipur. During the event, senior journalists from various newspapers and television channels across Rajasthan were honoured with the prestigious “Devrishi Narad Patrakar Samman 2026.”

The programme was आयोजित under the blessings of Thikana Mandir Govind Dev Ji, in association with Aarsh Sanskriti Digdarshak Trust and Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple. More than 70 distinguished journalists from print, television, and digital media were recognized for their outstanding contribution to the field of journalism.

The ceremony began with traditional rituals, including prayers and offerings to Panchmukhi Hanuman and Maharshi Narad, followed by a grand aarti conducted under the guidance of Mahant Anjan Kumar Goswami. The spiritual ambiance added a unique cultural significance to the event.

The समारोह was graced by chief guest Khoji Dwaracharya Ram Richhpal Das Maharaj of Triveni Dham. Brijmohan Sharma, Member of the Press Council of India, New Delhi, attended as the guest of honour. The event was coordinated by Organising Secretary Mahant Santosh Kumar Sharma, Director of Pink City Press Club, while senior journalist Jitendra Singh Shekhawat delivered the keynote address.

Among those honoured were Naval Pandey, Dr. Mithilesh Jaimini, Rohit Soni, Jitendra Pradhan, Matish Parik, Neeraj Mehra, Niranjan Chauhan, Kavita Pant, Chandraprakash, Vinod Sharma, Rishpal Singh Bhardwaj, Sanjay Kumawat, Dashrath Singh Shekhawat, Vijay Kedia, Dinesh Sharma “Tikku,” Jaya Gupta, Bhupendra Sharma, Mukesh Jain, and Dinesh Gautam, among others.

Political correspondent Neeraj Mehra received the Excellence in TV Journalism Award. Special honours were also conferred upon Dinesh Sharma “Tikku” (Times Now Navbharat), Kavita Pant and Vinod Sharma (First India), and Jaya Gupta (DD News), along with several others in different categories.

Awardees were presented with certificates of appreciation, mementoes, and traditional shawls. In his keynote speech, Jitendra Singh Shekhawat highlighted the legacy of Devrishi Narad as the first communicator, emphasizing truth, neutrality, and public interest as core values of journalism.

The event was also attended by several saints and religious leaders, including Sudarshanacharya Maharaj of Ghat ke Balaji, Mahant Ramraj Tyagi of Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple, Mahant Amit Sharma of Parkota Ganesh Temple, and Vijay Shankar Pandey. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of Mahaprasad.
