Reliance Jio Launches AI-Ready Cloud Computer ‘JioPC’

Ananya soch: Reliance Jio Launches AI-Ready Cloud Computer ‘JioPC’: In a major move for digital users across the country, Reliance Jio has launched JioPC – an AI-ready, cloud-based virtual desktop platform that transforms any television screen into a powerful personal computer. Customers with JioFiber or JioAirFiber connections can access this service through an affordable monthly subscription. New users will be able to try JioPC free for one month.

JioPC is India's first pay-as-you-go model in cloud computing – users only pay for what they use. There’s no lock-in period, no maintenance costs, and no need for expensive hardware or software upgrades. Just plug in, sign up, and start computing.

The company claims JioPC offers robust performance, capable of handling everything from daily tasks to gaming and high-end graphic rendering. A PC with similar specifications in the market can cost over ₹50,000, whereas JioPC plans start at just ₹400 per month, helping users save significantly.

With every subscription, users get access to all major AI tools, essential applications, and 512 GB of cloud storage. JioPC has also partnered with Adobe to offer free access to Adobe Express, a world-class design and editing tool.

Setting up JioPC is simple. Most homes with JioFiber or JioAirFiber already have a set-top box connected to their TV. Users only need to connect a keyboard and mouse to the set-top box, launch the JioPC app from the main screen, log in, and their PC is ready to use.

JioPC not only brings affordable computing but also ensures secure usage. It provides network-level protection against viruses, malware, and hacking attempts. Whether it’s shopping, banking, online classes, work-from-home, or personal photos and videos – all user data is safely stored in the cloud and can be accessed with a single click. Cloud storage can be upgraded based on user needs and plan preferences.
