The grand finale witnessed spellbinding performances that left the audience enthralled and deeply connected to the state’s artistic heritage.
Soulful Instrumental Opening Sets the Tone
The evening commenced with an evocative instrumental recital by Zeyan Hussain and his ensemble. The harmonious blend of violin and flute created an enchanting musical atmosphere. Beginning with a medium-tempo composition in Raag Khamaj set to Deepchandi taal (14 beats), the performance gracefully transitioned into the chhota khayal “Na Maanungi.”
The jugalbandi showcased intricate taans and dynamic jhala, demonstrating exceptional coordination and artistry. The finale in Raag Hansdhwani elevated the experience, immersing the audience in the depth and elegance of Indian classical music.
Folk Performances Bring Rajasthan’s Traditions Alive
The cultural journey continued with vibrant folk presentations. Arjun and troupe mesmerised the audience with the graceful Ghoomar dance, reflecting Rajasthan’s royal heritage. This was followed by Bishanlal and group presenting the energetic Deru dance of the Shekhawati region, offering a glimpse into rural life.
Urmila Kumari and her team delivered a thrilling Bhawai performance, where young artists balanced pots on their heads while dancing with remarkable precision and rhythm, earning loud applause from the audience.

According to Anuradha Gogiya, Additional Director General of the centre, the highlight of the समारोह was the outstanding performances by young artists. Their energy, discipline, and deep understanding of traditional art forms beautifully reflected the strength of the Guru-Shishya tradition and the institution’s commitment to nurturing future talent.
