Ananya soch: In a major push towards strengthening women’s safety, Bhajanlal Sharma flagged off 42 dedicated Women PCR vans from the Police Headquarters on Friday. The initiative marks a significant step in enhancing rapid response mechanisms and ensuring a safer environment for women across the state.
1090 Women Helpline Gets a Strong Boost
Addressing the occasion, the Chief Minister emphasized that the state government is continuously reinforcing the 1090 Women Safety Helpline to provide immediate assistance in cases of harassment, violence, or distress. He reiterated the government’s commitment to building a secure and responsive ecosystem for women.
24x7 PCR Vans for Immediate Action
The newly launched Women PCR vans will operate round the clock, ensuring swift action against crimes and emergencies involving women. Equipped with modern technology, these vehicles are designed to reach incident spots quickly and provide immediate assistance.
Integrated with Abhay Command Center for Real-Time Coordination
All PCR vans will be integrated with the Abhay Command Center, functioning on the lines of the emergency Dial 112 system. Each vehicle is fitted with a Mobile Data Terminal (MDT), enabling seamless communication and real-time instructions from the control room.
This integration will significantly reduce response time and improve coordination during emergencies.
Advanced Equipment for Efficient Field Response
The vans are equipped with essential modern tools, including GPS tracking systems, folding stretchers, and LED light bars. These features ensure that the response teams are well-prepared to handle various emergency situations effectively and safely.
