Industries Department reviews preparations for ‘Rising Rajasthan: Partnership Conclave 2025’

Ananya soch: Industries Department reviews preparations for ‘Rising Rajasthan: Partnership Conclave 2025: After organizing the hugely successful ‘Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024’, the Industries & Commerce Department of the Government of Rajasthan is now gearing up to organize the ‘Rising Rajasthan: Partnership Conclave 2025’ in Jaipur. A meeting to deliberate on the preparations for the conclave, scheduled on 11-12 December 2025, was held today at Udyog Bhawan under the chairmanship of Shri Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce.

In addition to the deliberations on the agenda of the conclave, the officials also discussed the themes of the tentative knowledge sessions, roundtable discussions and business expo proposed during the two-day event. Detailed discussions also took place on the preparations for the Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas event scheduled to be held on December 10, 2025. 

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce, Government of Rajasthan said, “While the central focus of the ‘Rising Rajasthan: Partnership Conclave’ will be on showcasing the implementation of the MoUs signed during the summit and their socio-economic impact, the conclave will also go beyond investment and help forge government-business tie-ups and showcase Rajasthan’s business reforms.” 

It was also deliberated that apart from showcasing the grounding of investments signed under the investment summit and the impact the summit has created, the Partnership Conclave will also showcase the impact of the activities of the various government departments on the economic growth and prosperity of the State. 

The Industries Department is also planning to offer a comprehensive shelf of Investible Projects to the business community for partnering with the government in implementing the projects. These projects will be offered in sectors ranging from infrastructure, utility services, mining, Information Technology, deep-tech, skilling, BFSI (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance) and GCC (Global Capability Centre) to social sectors like health, education, and nutrition. The scope for exploring potential partnerships with the private sector is expected to also include areas of knowledge sharing and co-creation among others. 

Shri Rohit Gupta, Commissioner, Industries & Commerce, senior officials of the Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP) and Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Limited (RIICO) and representatives of several partner organizations were also present during the meeting.

The Partnership Conclave will showcase the conversion of the MoUs signed during the 2024 summit into on-ground projects and their socio-economic impact on the lives of the people. Besides, it will also give impetus to government-businesses partnerships, take the dialogue forward in key business sectors, promote skill building and showcase the state’s business reforms accelerating the industrial development. 

It is worth noting that during the investment summit held from 9-11 December 2024 under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, the government had signed record investment proposals worth INR 35 lakh crore. At the IMPACT 1.0 event held in March this year, the government had announced that MoUs worth INR 3.08 lakh crore have already been grounded over in the State.
